Roger Niles
President

Roger Niles

Roger Niles is a builder at heart—whether it's scaling a multimillion-dollar business or restoring a classic Ford Bronco. His journey is one of innovation, leadership, and craftsmanship, shaped by both a distinguished career in technology sales and a deep-rooted love for hands-on work.

Raised in rural Missouri, Roger learned early on the value of hard work, ingenuity, and problem-solving. This foundation led him to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he gained a deep appreciation for precision, mechanics, and the beauty of well-engineered systems.

For over 24 years, Roger thrived in technology sales, building and leading high-performance teams. After a highly successful 10-year career at NetApp, where he consistently exceeded quotas and qualified for President's Club 6 years in a row, Roger joined ClearShark in 2010 to transform it from a services-based company into an IT sales powerhouse. As ClearShark's first Account Manager, he set the direction and the culture of the company and eventually took on the responsibility of Vice President of Sales. Over time, he built and led a sales team of 56 professionals, ultimately driving annual revenues to over $500 million. Later, as one of the Founders of ClearShark Services Inc., he expanded the company into cybersecurity services, growing it to $3 million in annual revenue before its acquisition in 2023. His expertise in strategy, leadership, and innovation made him a key player in the industry, helping companies like Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, and FireEye expand their reach.

Yet, for all his success in the tech world, Roger remained drawn to the art of building—something tangible, something with soul. His passion for the 1966-1977 Ford Bronco led him to create Atlas Broncos, where he merges his business acumen with his love of craftsmanship. With a deep respect for both progress and tradition, Roger brings a unique perspective to every build—merging precision engineering with classic design.

Roger lives in Austin, TX, with his wife of 20 years, their two teenage children, and three dogs. When he's not in the garage working on Broncos, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors.

During this period, he also founded Hard Reproduction, manufacturing rare Skyliner parts—including side trim and hubcaps—that remain vital to enthusiasts and restorers worldwide.

From 2020 to the present, Lyle D. Hutchens has expanded his expertise to classic Ford Broncos, specializing in full frame-off restomods. Leveraging decades of experience, he builds Broncos that preserve their timeless roots and character while seamlessly integrating modern performance, reliability, and comfort. Michael Medders
Senior Restoration Specialist

Michael Medders

Michael Medders is a highly skilled automotive professional with over a decade of hands-on experience in mechanics, restoration, and performance tuning. He began working at the age of 13, teaching himself vehicle repair while also gaining experience in house renovation and maintenance. After attending Four Rivers for vocational training and graduating from Sullivan High School in 2014, he quickly turned his passion into a career.

Michael started out as a diesel mechanic, specializing in Volvo tractor trailers, and also gained valuable experience in heavy wrecker and flatbed towing. In February 2016, he joined Hutchens Auto Restoration, where his career took a defining turn. Under the mentorship of company founder Lyle Hutchens, Michael learned more than schooling alone could provide. Lyle's guidance in classic restorations, problem-solving, and precision workmanship helped shape Michael into a versatile craftsman capable of handling every stage of a build.

When the company transitioned to specializing in classic Ford Broncos in 2020, Michael was part of the team from the very beginning, applying the lessons learned from Lyle to help establish this new direction. Today, he contributes across every phase of the Bronco builds, including:

  • Body Work & Metal Fabrication - repairing, modifying, and fabricating panels to achieve factory-correct fits and finishes.
  • Custom Wiring & Harness Fabrication - designing and building modern wiring systems that integrate seamlessly with vintage body harnesses.
  • Engine Building & Mechanical Work - assembling and restoring engines to deliver reliable, powerful performance.

Beyond restorations, Michael has been instrumental in the launch of the company's performance and technology services, including:

  • Chassis Dyno Operation & Tuning - performing custom engine tuning and dyno runs to ensure vehicles achieve peak performance.
  • ADAS Calibration - setting up and calibrating advanced driver-assistance systems with accuracy and reliability.

Michael credits much of his growth to Lyle's mentorship and continues to apply those lessons in his work every day.
